Server/VPS for Xrumer? What would u Suggest?

Looking for a place to host xrumer with 100mbps unmetered,
could pay max $50/month for Vps or $70/for server.

Anyone have some suggestions?
Checked out xsserver.eu but they are really limiting it to 10mb instead of 100advertisted.

already said that xsserver places 10mbps limit instead of 100 as advertised! I can get the same speed from my home pc

Try one of the bigger packages.. Some guys here get 80mbps+

If you are looking for $70 with unmetered 100Megs, its a pipe dream, additionally u want a host who would allow you to use xrumer.

Sorry but running xrumer on a VPS is not going to produce any sort of significant performance regardless of where you are hosting it. Please Stinger let us know what links per minute you are getting? That would be a good start. Most VPS's (yes even Xsservers) are overloaded and who knows what the fuck the other guy is doing on your "dedicated" line.

A couple of guys I work with use around 3,000 GB a month so unmetered isn't really needed (thats running 1 or 2 instances at a time 24/7).

Spend around $100 for a dedicated, run some socks and you should be fine. PM me if you would like to know more.

kusai as long as you are using SOCKS it shouldn't matter too much what the host allows/disallows. I know a couple who, as long as you don't produce complaints, will be fine.

Think about this. How are they going to complain if you are using a socks proxy to build your profile links anyway?

I've been asking many hosts if they allow Xrumer but nearly all of them say no. The ones that do charge double for the same thing.

How many socks proxies would we need to build say 20k profiles a day (I'm a light user as I only have like 20 sites to build upon. I might offer services later on once I get the hang of it, as I think it should not be too difficult to just create profiles.)? I'm thinking of buying Xrumer 7 but I don't want to use it with my home connection.

Also, what are the minimum specs required to run Xrumer 7 and recaptcha on a server?
ie. 2gb ram, etc.

You can get socks proxies for free (couple of hundred should suffice) and a decent quad core should be fine. I'm running xrumer at home and am about to get the details on my server tonight.

Don't ask them if you can use xrumer. Cmon think a little bit out of the box here. Just like calling godaddy asking them if you can email 250 - 500 per hour. They will say no.

Soon as you start getting $$$ upgrade to a better/faster dedi.

You can run xrumer from home for a little while until your IP is banned. Then switch to a proxy until your ISP threatens to cut you off. Say you had no idea/virus on your comp and it is removed now. (btw I'm based in the harsh USA too...)

my point is not a host allowing xrumer or not. What I meant to say is 100meg unmetered is not cheap unless its massively oversold and each customer gets less than 10megs on that same port.

P.S Lets hope mods allow my post in BST section for offering vps/dedi.

Alright man, that sounds like a plan. I'll go look for some socks and see how many I can scrounge up. It's going to be a pain in the arse to keep looking for em though. Also, wouldn't most proxies be banned from many sites though? I dunno.

Yes I have heard alot of good things about the XServer....but not used it myself...it may be a good bet for you to try out....I have been contemplating using them myself since their prices are rather good...
