Hi you will have to bare with me here as this might be a dumb question.

I have heard that If I use server to server postback to track conversions that even if I do cloak the traffic source using prosper 202 with an additional hide refer between affiliate network and my prosper redirect that the affiliate network can figure out where my traffic is coming from and with iframe pixel they cannot. Is there any truth to this or am I misinformed?

If I am not misinformed but still must use Server to Server postback are there any additional steps I can take to ensure and or stop the traffic source from being divulged?

Also If I AM misinformed and I am cloaking with prosper202 is an extra hide referer redirect redundant?

Ok It seems like I didn't ask this question properly as I am not getting a reply, try to forgive my ignorance I do not have a lot of cloaking experience. Let me ask the question another way:

I am required to place a tracking pixel from a traffic source that I am buying traffic from directly on the advertiser's landing page with my affiliate network to register conversions. This is not a problem when the affiliate network supports iframe pixels. However the network I am dealing with only supports postback tracking pixels, and again it is mandatory that I place the pixel of my traffic source directly on the affiliate network. This would allow them to see my traffic source which I simply can't have happen......Can anyone help me to get around this or educate me?

    I would really appreciate it.

Any kind of callback will reveal the URL source of the callback by definition...

So create a white hat website on a domain and use that for the tracking callback.

Most of my affiliates just place a tracking202 postback/S2S pixel on the offer in their affiliate account.

You can place a tracking202 pixel with your traffic source as well usually.

This way all your traffic sources are hidden and everything will route into 202.
