The host said my server was hacked over the weekend and we restored a backup but my homepage that was ranking well has disappeared. The site has only been back up a day and the internal pages are indexed for it Has anyone ever come across this before? Not sure what the hack did but when I went to visit my site over the weekend it was a 404 error. Hoping the rankings go back to normal in a few days?
EDIT: The homepage is now indexed on Google but not actually ranking (it was not indexed since the hack until now!).
