serps are frozen?

    anyone experiencing this? it seems that everything is frozen. nothing is moving up or down.
    for example, I have been monitoring a keyword and this is what's been happening:
    my competitor lost a few very good backlinks and he is still sitting at #1
    another competitor has been building a lot of good backlinks and he is still at #20
    I have been building a lot of good quality backlinks and I am still sitting at #9

    nothing is changing. it's like they have locked the serps or something?

    Yes, MaCu announced it on twitter yesterday, it is some glitch in the algorithm or something, they are working hard to fix the issue...

    yeah the SERPs are sort of frozen right now. You just need some salt to break the ice.

    and try incogneto tab to check manually - many times Gewgle will remember which sites you've visited and looked at long (i.e. your competitors while analyzing their sites) and show you those higher based on *that*.
