SerpBook is dead.

I have sent a request to cancel my sub for serpbook 7 days ago with no response, as their tracking is shocking to say the least. I use both serpfox and proranktracker.

Hi there, we're sorry to hear you're having issues with SerpBook.

We have not had any issues with our service and everything is still running smoothly.

Please do send us a PM with your email and any issues you are having issues with and we would be glad to take care of you.

Not to jump on the hate train as I was happy with the service but there has defiantly been a problem the past few days. I have been provided a tracking URL by one of the services here for a project they are working on, I am tracking the same keywords/urls with my own account and both are showing different data.

I have raised a ticket with your support system but it looks like there is definitely a problem.

Recently for me serpbook has been having trouble tracking certain keywords. I'd have to check manually and it's no where near the position it says it's supposed to be. I had to move to serpfox, it's far more accurate even if it doesn't have all the extra features.

This is the same problem i'm having, i thought i was the only one

The best option i have found is accuranker, it is advertised in the gsa forums and it has a very good feature, it extracts the GWMT data, allowing you to work with the keywords that are encrypted.

I am in no way affiliated with them but as a customer and it is a good alternative.

I think you should have posted this in the SL if you really want to bash on their service and you're unsatisfied. I didn't use them, but you could have at least contacted them before posting this, or talk to a mod and see if it's appropiate.
From my point of view, you're throwing shit at a service and you haven't provided us any proof or reason for that, especially considering the owner is a member of BHW.

I've been using SerpBook for a while now, and although there are times when their service is down, or times when the ranks are slightly inaccurate - the overall ranking accuracy has been quite high for me.

This thread needs to be deleted! Because instead of contacting the creator you went ahead and started bashing his thread!

My rankings are pretty accurate, it's not the fastest but it does the job.

My rankings are pretty accurate too. SB is a nice tool.

Oh really? Do you really prefer the affiliate link in your signature? You didn't miss a beat, did you?

Take another look because David does not have an affiliate link in that banner advertisement.
While I respect Tony I still agree that there's better ways of handling an issue like this. Obviously
Lanbo is more than willing to resolve problems and make it right. His response to this thread just
shows he has a high level of composure and business sense.

I do in-fact use SerpBuddy and agree with David. You won't find the banner nor an affiliate link in
my signature either, however Lanbo is a good service provider and does care for his clients. :)

Hi Lanbo,
If I was the only one experiencing an issue, I would certainly have contacted your support in the first instance.
There was a thread a few days ago (as referenced in my original post) where various users discussed an experience the same as mine - and, that experience hasn't changed for me since that time.
You'll also note that in that thread I said that I had refrained from starting a thread about the issue, and was giving it some time first.

Since then, SB continues to show inaccurate ranks, and indeed, even shows ranks that are totally different to the manual lookup performed via the magnifying glass icon.

In this thread too, there are quite a number of users reporting exactly the same thing, as there were in the thread a few days ago.

Please look into it, rather than maintaining that nothing is wrong. I accept that you genuinely think nothing is wrong - but I think that the number of people experiencing the issue warrants some further investigation.

Also - a few users have pointed out that this thread might not be the best way to approach this issue. I accept that.
It's not my intent to cause you any harm - simply to share and discuss with the community my experience as a user of SerpBook.
That said, I'll close this thread, to prevent it from being further bumped.
