SERP tools?

So, I have been out of the game for a looong long time and I need a tool to consistently check serp ratings for a given set of keywords and keep track of it for various sites.

I remember I used the paid version of SerpAttacks back in the day (2 years ago), what is the current recommended software or app/site to use to check and keep track of seo rankings. Whether it is paid or freem but I prefer free since the only paid one I have is serpattacks

Are you looking for a free solution or you can pay?
 
Rank Tracker is what I use. If you go the paid route might as well do that one since you get way more features than any service provider.
 
rankcheckerace.com is another good rank tracking tool.
 
I personally use Link Assistant Rank Tracker since years, and it works quite precisely. There are only a couple of downsides: it drawns down the computer if you don't have a speedy one (in terms of resources needed) and you can check 10-20 keywords before getting "stopped" on SE's query number. Quite annoying... I was using lot of proxies in the past, but for some reason if I put in the recent version a (working) proxy within the settings it does not check local queries... boh...

That said, I am moving (also) to online services: they use their servers so there is no risk of getting temporarily blocked on IP.

MOZ (formerly SEOmoz) works good, and also it has many great features (on-page grade reports for example). It is quite costly.

Micro Site Masters works pretty good too, and it has a free plan where you can test the service with 10 keywords. You can try it even now.

To finish, I just created an account to SERP TRACKER (sorry, don't remember exactly but it could be owned by someone here at BHW) and the FREE plan looks working pretty good too. You can try that one too at no cost.

Definitely Serpbook. It is affordable price with multiple plan options. The best thing is it is 80%-90% accurate compare to other serp tools.
 
Try SERPFox they are even free for upto 10 keywords so far i remembered and they are too accurate in output :)
FREE is atleast not bad to try,
 
Thanks everyone for your suggestions, will try some of the free / trial options and if really worth it I might buy the full version
 
I am using the 'SEO Powersuite', there's a free version available. The only downside is that you can't save your project in the free version. Good luck mate!
