I've recently been looking into SERP Ranking tools. I've been looking for the best, but also the most cost effective. Sure there are a lot of free ones out there, however are they worth it?

I'd love to hear some thoughts, what tool do you use, what does it cost and is it worth the price?

Hi, I have tried Microsite Masters, but currently using Serp Fox to track results in the serps. They have a free account for up to 10 keywords, which is superb. And prices on the paid accounts are affordable. I find SerpFox better than the rest, they update rankings in real time when you add keywords for the first time which is amazing too.

SerpFox was a stand out for me, it works well - ranking wise - however, it won't show you the rise and fall of a keyword over a month, it just gives you a numbered error code. - It is free which is a huge bonus.

Take a look here:

Read the latest pages for the newest version...

Might give that a look, thanks for that.

serp book dot com works for me ... :)

Price? Quality?

serpbook +1

Price? Quality?

I like Microsite Masters. It allows to easily track and access the ranking results for individual keywords and websites on different Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. Multiple projects can be tracked with ease, as well. I find it more accurate than any other tools.

In my experience, they are all the same or almost using the same formula with different graphs. I used a free tool rankcheckerace.com and seems accurate enough, you can give it a shot!!

rank tracker from seo power suite tracks up to position 1000 its free ,but you cant save data in the free version ,great for checking rankings on a new site. I also use sepbook now to keep records of movement . very cheap

Price? Price & Quality ratio?

I'll give it a look, haven't actually hear of it before.

That's not actually true, but I'll have a look at that. Thanks for the input.

Great! I'll take a look.

rankerizer is free, you can also try semrush rank tracker and serpscran.com free version

I'm using SERPBook.. It's not free, but it's effective and easy to use. Recommended.

I noticed a lot of serpbook fans here and I am a serpbook user myself. From my experience, I think its overrated. The rankings arent too accurate. However, the support is great. The founder is always willing to help, but yeah. its not that accurate.

serpbuddy.com and link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/ are the best IMO
