I open up my browser and search for my keyword.
My website is listed in the first page.
And yes, it is Google.com and NOT some country-based Google (e.g: google.co.uk)

But when I use SERP checker websites like seoserp.com, my site is said to be listed on the third page.

I even used hidemyass proxy to access Google (to make me appear as my IP is from the U.S) and search for the keyword but it is still in the first page.

Anyone experience this weird results? Which is more accurate then?

You probably have a G cookie or login affecting your serp, happens all the time. Try a diff browser.

Try hidemyass.com to see what you get.

Yeah... It's why google instant is killing me... have to log out and delete cookies... and who the hell knows what surfers see because I don't believe the masses are going to log out and delete their cookies to search. So really SERPs only show you what a "keyword noob" would see. The "keyword regulars" and "keyword power users" are going to have biased results from past history. This is probably why googles posted traffic numbers are much larger than those of legitimate page one measurements.
