Not that bad in my country (yet), but serious prevention measures, quarantine is enforced. a unique experience to see the city turn into a ghost town. Respirator masks are actually super effective in preventing spread of the virus, too bad they are so scarcely available now.

So basically everyone is a keyworker. They announced school closures to shut everyone up wanting the schools too close but are actually open.

Mixing will become worse and so will spreading.

Schools where never closing.

I'm not one to be shouting fuck the government but FUCK them on this. This is a cluster fuck.

I don't see why people should just not go about as normal. I'm now not changing my habits. If I get it I'll happily be a cunt and start offering COVID-19 parties like you do with chicken pox!

UK Government is still doing herd immunity just they stopped calling it that because it was scaring the public. SO FUCKED OFF.

So finally after watching and reading everything the last week since they announced school closures. I could not work out for the life of me WHY the gov was focusing so hard on antibody testing kits when there are now drugs in Asia that seem to be working and every other country seems to be fast tracking them apart from the UK.

UK test 1 person, trial ends. Focus hard on antibody testing kit makes no sense, until that key worker list came out today. UK is still on herd immunity just no one is calling it that any more, everyone seems to think this is all OK.

It also now make sense why the underground tubs will stay open. This is why I been so invested in this thing since I saw reports in December I've been interested in how social media + news media + government spin all change like Chinese whispers and how the information alters or reporting changes.

I've never seen it so clear (not to sound like some nutter) but it now all makes sense.

Last week herd immunity got some serious backlash with WHO calling it insane and everyone else predicting loads of deaths and government said no more testing everyone went nuts.

They change the wording and perception on it and pressure is backed off, government said we will still be testing but antibody only which makes no sense if we are trying to now isolate. WHO and media pressure takes it foot off the governments neck.

Yesterday this key worker list came out, tube/underground and trains are all active as normal. Pubs and clubs are advised for you to stay away from but are still OPEN Why? Because UK is still herd testing and does not want to call it that anymore. Notice WHO isn't calling them out because the government has stopped using the "bad word" The health guy was telling the UK population to stay out of pubs and clubs I bet behind close doors he was rubbing his hands in joy...

Well I was doing social distancing I was doing my "bit" but I don't see why that should change. I might as well go about as normal as if it's December 2019 as that's the clear plan here until deaths and the UK population wake up.

So from what I been told if you are a teacher in a smaller school you have to volunteer time. Both during and outside normal school hours with shifts being as long as 12 hours if needed SO you might have to stay in school and look after kids 6pm till 6am. Monday - Sunday so 24/7... In an event of a lockdown it MIGHT and they stress MIGHT change.

I can't work it out. UK gov said this is a war time government SO in a time of war if the UK was going to be bombed the schools would stay open?

No need for racism but don't think it's wrong to acknowledge the place of origin of the contagion. In fact it must be beneficial doing so (raising awareness in both the international community and the country of origin itself they must be alert about circumstances causing the outbreak and try and avoid that in future)
