Seriously??? WTF

But they're Nike Hyperdunk Mcfly Back to the future Marty Mcfly. That makes them worth the extra $1450 :)

About 20 years late with that marketing campaign.

there totally worth it though- they make you jump like 4 feet higher and dance like the rappers in music videos while in the club

I've got a friend who is a serious Nike collector that has dropped considerably more than $1,500 on a pair of shoes. To me, that's ridiculous. To him, they're art. Recently he resold a pair that he got doubles of as a kid to a Japanese collector for $5,000.

Ugliest shoes I've ever seen.

And now that I mention it, has anyone noticed that athletic shoes are getting uglier and uglier as the years progress? I went shoe shopping the other day, and as usual I left empty handed and baffled. I honestly though the best looking pair of shoes in the store was the size 2 batman shoes for kids...

Reminds me of some of those over priced auctions for websites.

I keep seeing this baseball card shop auction for like 1 million dollars. The price goes up every week. I'm sure something fishy is going on with that auction, but the fees have to be crazy..

...You're just getting old and are obviously a family man.

No crime in that!

I agree. I went running shoe shopping and all the shoes were nice, then they throw on some random ugly color in the worst spot.

I found two shoes I like. One was all white with silver accents, and the other I custom made at the Nike.com that was all silver.

But seriously, I'm not gay or anything, but women's running shoes look so much better than men's.

Well there's a sucker born every minute, so I'm sure some schmuck will buy those.

And did anyone else get the feeling that those may have been designed by the guys from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"?

Taka look at dih mayn. What's worse, those or the Yums.

I couldn't pay over 100 for any shoes.. Don't want someone to get jumped for their Mcfly's.

DVS all the way.

He's probably just trying to get views so he can stuff his cookie on everyone.

That's exactly what I was thinking! LOL

Actually that's what I think of any auction I go to on ebay. Thanks a lot Boomer! LOL

I started to think I was the only one that thought that most of the new shoe styles were ugly.

I always have the hardest times finding shoes since only about 2-3 styles usually look normal.

I am going to check out the Nike site next time. I did not know you can customize now.

Yeah, I just can't get into the newer athletic shoes either. I had many pairs of shoes in the 90's that I would love to be able to find and buy again today. Stuck in the 90's I guess. Too much reflective, springy, bright colored crap on shoes today.

Vans have always been some of my fave shoes, and that's pretty much all I wear anymore. They're cheap and comfy. Classics, Eras, Old Skools, Mavericks, Rowleys...

Both the nike marty mcfly and yums shoes are gay. Seriously, who would wear those?

People with way too much money! lol

Actually, I know a couple of people who collect shoes and they don't wear them ever. I think it's just like baseball card collectors or car collectors. If it's what you like and you have the money, more power to you....

Basketball/Baseball card collecting is different, I've got a collection of about 2000 basketball cards, I loved them when I was around 10.

Yeah, my son has about 500 basketball cards already. And he treats those cards the same way shoe collectors treat those shoes. None of it makes sense to me, but whatever makes you happy, I guess...
