I don't even care about revealing the products. I've spent 100s of $$ getting the website ranked, with more money spent for writing articles. My site is literally #1 for tough, targeted KWs, and this is what I get.

I'm done with Clickbank. After $4000-a-month with Amazon and their amazing 4% conversion rate (even with the crappy commission rates), this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Goodbye Clickbank, and good riddance.

That seems a little bit odd.

Have you experimented with different sites and products or just one?
 
You sure you targeting the right keywords?
I've never liked Clickbank and their policy, cj, amazon, linkshare & a few cpas, thats all I promote.
Sorry to hear, but it is not a waste, your domain is up there so do the most of it and just change the layout to promote other stuff.
 
Different sites, different products. I was first promoting a hundred dollar product through a separate account which got 700 hops and no sales. I decided that maybe the high price was a deterrent and moved to a $47 product.

Same thing, 432 hops later. I guess I got spoilt by Amazon seeing 10s of sales everyday on waking up.
 
Reyone - thanks, I'll be moving the same way as well. Thanks for the advice about the sites. I'll put some CPA stuff on it and recover some of my losses. Anyway. Process, process, process.

If it ain't broke....focus on Amazon if it was working for you before. Your site is obviously attracting the wrong traffic.
 
Just look for some other affiliate network which have the products you are promoting like amazon or cpa networks
 
Thanks for the input seocrab. I'd love to know your thoughts - let's say I targeted the wrong KW. People came through organic search, on my website, read a whole article full of presell of a product, bothered to click through to the merchant site, then decided, to hell with this. Is that normal? I mean, wouldn't they have just bounced off my website instead? I am trying to bridge this gap in my mind and it's bothering me.
 
It honestly looks like you found one product that isn't working for you...

The rest are still potentials in my eyes.

Hi there,

Conversion rates depend on so many factors that it's almost impossible to make a decent evaluation based on the amount of clicks shown on your screenshot.

I would need at least 200-300 targeted clicks to a page to evaluate conversions and that is based on the assumption that all other elements are in place.

We have affiliates promoting our products who make between $4K-$K20/Month from one product alone on almost auto-pilot.

Have you created some pre-selling pages to these products? Have you carefully chosen your keywords? what type traffic have you been using? Are you tracking everything?

Simple, the products are crap, and you have very few hops.Good luck!
 
Yeah sure does Amazon cheap on their resellers.
By the way, sold a playstation yesterday and it gave me only 4$ ??????????

That's 1% WTF ?
 
Those are not out of the ordinary stats. There are times people go thousands of hops without a sale. Instead of blaming clickbank, see what you are doing wrong with your sales funnel.
 
You obviously aren't promoting converting products. Take a look around at some other products on the marketplace.
 
It definitely has to do with your traffic and how you are promoting the products. I'm sending laser targeted clicks and what's my average so far? For past 3 months my average has been 17 hops per order. So instead of blaming clickbank, I think you should focus more on your conversions. I personally think pre-selling is where you are doing it wrong (if you're doing any pre-selling at all).
 
Have you check the vendor landing page? Have you check the product?
 
depending on the source of traffic you can see 2 sales for less than 60 clicks or 2 sales on 5.500 hops ....

I would not leave clickbank if I were you, sometimes you can make almost a 200 bucks commission just from one buyer
