Serious troubles - hacked - need help

Hey guys,

in the last time we've had problems with a hacker who took over our facebook page. It also happend today. Right now we removed him from our page as a manager but he is still able to post pictures and he also deletes older content! Is he a hidden manager? Or how can he still post if we removed him? What should we do?


Any tips would be greatly appreciated. It took us a lot of time and effort to build this page up and it really hurts that someone wants to destroy it now.

PLEASE HELP US IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!

BUMP - anyone an idea? Is it even still possible that someone is hidden manager? If yes: how can we remove the hacker/hidden manager? If no: how is he able to post and delete then?
 
Can't you see who the hacker is posting stuff as? If it's one of your own accounts, means your account has been compromised, so remove rights for that account/ change pw?

Change all of your passwords and make sure all of the email addresses are setup to the correct addresses.
 
He hacked one of our accounts which we got back now. However this isn't the account he has used to post disgusting pictures and clickbaiting links. We are admins again but we can't see him, so he must still be admin but his account is hidden or something like that? Has anyone expierenced this? Or does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

The page was so much work and it ran perfectly.. and now this.. it's really pulling us down so if anyone knows how to fix this please help us. Aprecciate it! :)

EDIT: we already changed emails and passwords several times.. didn't help.

He is posting throught email. You have to change that email, go to setinggs and mobile (dont really remember). If you cant find it add me on skype, I will help you mate.

I just saw that he is posting VIA INSTAGRAM. That means he must be admin/manager to authorize posting via Instagram. But we don't see him as an admin so how can we see the hidden managers/admins? Or what else can we do?
 
He might be using any services like ifttt or something else. I think a password reset of both email and your Facebook page should help you.
 
Ok I found out that we can't disconnect this Instagram profile from our page unless we can log in into it and manage the disconnection from the Instagram profile where he is posting from. But he can still remove us as admins/managers?? How can he do that?? How can we remove a hidden manager/admin or why don't we see him?
 
We already changed every password and email several times - this isn't helping.
We now figured out that he took our Facebook Mentions account and that he is doing the stuff like deleting with the Facebook Mentions account. Does anyone know how to get back a Facebook Mentions account? Or how to change the email and password of the Facebook Mentions account?

Already been there many times but sadly these don't help. We now managed to get contact with Facebook somehow so I hope it will be fixed soon.
 
So.. Just a quick update and a serious question! After contact with facebook we got the page under control again. However, we are still losing followers? Is this due to a delay or is he still deleting our followers? I think he may have a bot or something like that that removes our followers. Any ideas on how to fix this or how to block the deleting of followers by the hacker?

Did he disable joining/following? Maybe you are losing at a normal rate but aren't gaining any either?
 
We are losing at a rate of 20.000 followers per day so this can't be the normal rate. Especially because our content lately has been better than ever. However I am going to check if he disabled following, thanks for the tip! :) Has anyone else suggestions? We are 100% sure that he is deleting followers do damage us. How can we prohibit this? Is there any option in facebook to lock that?

I wonder if he sent out a mass msg to your followers or something? if thats possible

No he didn't send out a message like that. You can do that by hand or - what we think - with a bot. You simply can remove follower. So we think he has still access anyhow and removes our followers. We have to stop this immediately because we are losing 1.000 followers per hour right now... ANYBODY ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW WE CAN STOP THIS?? Please guys the damage is already really big :/ IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS WHAT WE COULD DO PLEASE TELL US.

Do you trust all your admins? I would temp demote all admins, just incase.

Honestly...
Why dont you just hire a professional security expert for helping you? If you have that many follwoers and that high financial risk, it would definetly be worth it, and won't take him more than two hours (including consulting for future security) to figure this out.
