[Serious ] LAZINESS JUST KILLED ME, HELP

Make a list of what you want to achieve, and the steps required to achieve it. Each day you have to mark something off the list.
That's a great advice thank you
Made we want to ask, what kind of job is it?
It involves mass dms spamming and aggressive marketing but pays me upto 20 grands.
Its so shit and boring tho that the outcome doesn't push me

My advice - take little bites all the time. Make attainable goals and chip away at them.

If you start running today, you will have to push hard to run a mile.

If you do it for a week you will get used to it, but you will be unable to do it naturally.

If you do it for a month consistently dealing with the roadblocks, you will get a little bit used to it.

In 3 months you will be able to run like a sprinter and you'll be saying an hour long run is an easy one.

In 6 months you will be able to attend your first serious run.

In 12 months you might run your first marathon.

The biggest pain is in the beginning. You have to get used to work.

Everything seems boring and pointless when you start. This is life.

Give it 3 years. You will wake up at one point and do an hour of work for $60 or more living the digital nomad lifestyle feeling safe and ok.

Procrastination is a worst habit anyone can have. Get rid of this bad habit and you will see growth and prosperity in your career.

We all know we need to do the work. The problem is the execution of commands.
Some of us might have undiagnosed ADHD.

Here's what I found helps in some days when I can't get moving.
I look around my office. I focus on just ONE thing I can do to make my office better/cleaner.

It must take 2 minutes or less.
I do it, reward myself mentally.

Then I look for the next thing that I can do. It's things like getting that piece of paper off my desk and throwing it in the trash. Or simply wipe my monitor.

After 5-6 of these, I usually get myself amped up.

I then look for stuff that takes 5 minutes or less to do on my laptop.
This can be checking the scrum board, marking some epics as done, reply to ONE email.

Again, reward, wait.

After about 40 minutes of this, I can get into work.

When I find intense friction, I just say to myself 5 minutes and that's it.
Usually I continue after the 5 minutes.

The problem is... it doesn't work all the time. But more often than not, it works, and it's worth trying.

Sometimes just spending 2 minutes visualizing in my mind how I'm completing the task, and focusing on how great I'll feel after works too.
Not always, but also worth trying.

The third type of pain BHW users should be aware of is the pain of reinvesting and spending (managing) their money wisely.
This. Throwing money at something doesn't make it successful and sometimes things simply don't scale.

I lived with my mother until 48, there is no shame to that. At 50 I thought it was time to move on and wash my own clothes.
1. I thought you were way younger though

Newbies never win a lot of money. Why do you think they do? A lot of money is $500+ / day. Newbies make $200 - $300 and it only takes some experience and common sense.

Going hard ($1K+/day) cannot be simply done by working. It's truly hard and requires up-to-date expert knowledge.

Why would you even setup a business if you can go to some country where payouts are $400 per day? Just learn some language (2 years) and you're at it. Business is not for kids!!!

In most of the threads where you reply you always advice people to learn programming.
Others might be like do this then do that but you are just on your grounds defending what you believe. I like that spirit of yours mate hope to be like that someday

I am in the same boat.
When I first started reading this forum I thought the je VIP's where the top top. I saw je VIP as an achievement but sadly I'm understanding that even them are still in the hustle process, kind of still admirable :)
I have a job, things are clear, it pays my bills.

But its sooo fuckingggg hardddd and boringgg as fuuuuuuuuuck.

I need some money to move out of my parents house and then start my real job which is something I dream of doing for years.

It only takes me 3 month of work to make enough Money for that but

I HATE TO WORK
IM PROCRASTINATING EVERYTHING
AND I FEEL LIKE THE LAZIEST FUCK EVER

Got any solutions:(
one thing for sure is that no matter which solution you get here it won't take you far. I believe that it boils down to oneself the decision of either i stay like this and nothing change or I get my ASS off and start changing to reach my dream life. And one last thing never compare yourself to anyone apart yourself note your progress and reward yourself sometimes. Keep up mate you are going to make it (that's what I tell myself everyday :p)

I just told something to a 16 year old guy who thought c++ and blockchains are the way to go. So hard to start with it...

Now he is going to build feasible products at home using PHP and JS frameworks.

Newcomers always get caught up in this complex landscape wondering what they should learn.

1. Get up whenever it's most uncomfortable. like 7AM or 8, whatever.
2. Make your bed ASAP
3. Go to shower and start with hot water. Make your body wet from head to toes for a minute
4. Switch to cold water immediately and stay under it for 30 seconds to minute.
5. Get out of shower and eat a healthy breakfast.

Repeat this for a month at least. Thank me later.

My advice is to eliminate all distractions and start creating better habits.. I would start with a Dopamine detox and then gradually start building better habits, go with improving slowly and plan to see results rather than going fast without a plan it won't result in anything but wasted time. Trust the process.
