Yesterday, my daily budget for adwords was set at $10
I have charges to my account for $80

    WTF?????

How can the charges exceed my budget?
I see i accidentally set the CPC to $7.50 instead of $0.75, but surely the thats the point of the daily budget, to stop it from wracking up a ridiculous amount? What if 100 people clicked, would I owe google $7500 when my budget was $10????

Does somebody please have a real contact email for adsense, those stupid forms are ridiculous.

    fuck

Why am I being charged for more than my daily budget on some days?

Google may allow up to 20% more clicks in a day than what your daily budget specifies. However, over a given billing period, you'll never be charged more than what is allowed by your daily budget.

    Here's a more detailed explanation:

User traffic fluctuates from day to day. To make up for these fluctuations and to ensure that your campaigns reach their potential, Google may allow up to 20% more clicks (or impressions, for cost-per-impression campaigns) in one day than what your daily budget specifies. We call this overdelivery.

However, our system makes sure that in a given billing period, you're never charged more than the number of days in that billing period multiplied by your daily budget. For example, if you budget £5 per day and you're charged for a 30-day billing period, the maximum that you would pay is £150.

If Google overdelivers your ads too much and you accrue more costs in a billing period than your budget allows, a credit will automatically be applied to your account. For instance, if you receive a credit for £2.50 and you've accrued £15 in costs in a given billing period, you'll only be charged £12.50.

So 20% more than 1 click (my CPC vs my Daily Budget (1 and 1/4 of a click) is
31.21/100 clicks - so i can get charged for 1 third of a click - the charged me for 800% more clicks at least

    FYI,

Adwords can charge you upto 30 times of your budget.

If you budget is $10, it can charge you upto $10*30 = $300 even on same day.

then can you please show me where on the adwords site it says that they can charge you 30 times your daily budget?
