Same. I posted an update here.

Naturally my motivation to add more content to this domain is non-existent at the moment. So I have been thinking over things this morning. I am not a natural blackhatter, in general, I believe in doing things the right way and following the rules as I believe (d) that it would lead to good long term results.

However right now I feel like fuck you google and I want to turn to the dark side and just start off new domains and going full, balls to the wall, blackhat and accept they will get hit anyway.

Why do I think that Google has acknowledged that it messed up with the May core update and it wants to roll back with these stupid new updates? However it is not going anywhere.
 
I got pissed off with these many updates.
 
Anyone seen any fluctuations? My quility site is going up and down like a yo yo, my shit sites are gaining. Google loves spam, addicted, must have been born just after the war when Spam was seen as a treat. Spam on toast, spam sandwhiches, deep fried spam, Google is loving the spam

Don't dramatize.

Every site will get hit at some point. This cannot be avoided. Every single one of my sites got hit with first core update it faced and I have managed to recover all of them.

Some went to 0 traffic only to reach 2K UV a day a few months later.

Check what Google might or might not like, do some tweaks (sent you a PM in regards to this) and you might very well recoved after the next core update.
 
My main site took a volume hit, but the quality of my traffic has gone up. Currently seeing better numbers with less traffic.

Current G update reminds me before May update.
But worse.

Seems like G ignored content, it focus almost 100% in User Analytics.

I ranked page one for keyword buy xxxx views trough domain.com/buy-xxxx-views
Also ranked for keyword buy xxxx likes trough domain.com/buy-xxxx-likes

This current update made domain.com/buy-xxxx-views also ranked for keyword buy xxxx likes
While domain.com/buy-xxxx-likes page disappeared.

Why? Despite content inside domain.com/buy-xxxx-views has nothing to do with buy xxxx likes?

It is because domain.com/buy-xxxx-views page/content is helpful according to G.

Meaning?

domain.com/buy-xxxx-views has better dwell time, page session, user engages, no pogo etc

That's the easier way to determined ether the content is helpful or not helpful.
Because everybody can write content, everybody can buy high dr links.

But the end result, user behavior is the key.

I’m observing it too. My traffic dropped by 50% but Ads income dropped only dropped by 10%

Traffic on my new site is down by 30%. Google needs to reverse whatever the fuck it is that they’re up to asap. :suspicious:
 
Finally even some big guys here on BHW are affected by this update. I thought it is just me. But don’t worry everyone, let’s wait for 2 weeks and see if we recover from it.

People sometimes seem to think it is just their own site being hit. In some cases, it may be the reason, but mainly these are niche related changes, such as YMYL or EAT type niches.

I do like this thought process. I think I need to do a case study or something with this because I've never really seen a top SEO person come out and say your analytics affects rankings. I think it would, but its like no one talks about it.
