In the same boat, but building on Payhip. I'm going to get a cheap separate phone for business.

just get a new simcard with a different number and top it up with credit or pay monthly for the new number, if topping up credit won't do it.

It looks like my best and cheapest option is to get a prepaid phone. The phone is around $100 and the monthly fee will be $15. A home phone is way more expensive.
I'm going to just get a separate prepaid cell phone.

google voice is free. you get unique number that forwards to your physical phone. can do custom voicemail and other stuff on the backend last i looked.
if you have multiple employees on-call to do phones you should likely use something else. i've worked with enterprises using Microsoft teams to facilitate this. but i'm sure there's cheaper stuff.
