While I was analyzing the stats in Analytics was wondering when it is reasonable to create a separate landing page in terms of resource efficiency.
Lets say you run an e-commerce store targeting different groups of people who respond differently to various stimuli (copy, tone of voice, imagery, products). When would you create a separate landing page? Only if the promotional campaign is different or target group specific? Will you create separate landings for each step of your evergreen campaign? What about demographics like gender, age, etc. or traffic sources?
Creating separate landings for all different variables is time consuming and at some point the benefits from the positive conversion rate will be less then the amount of time put into achieving it. So how do you measure if its worth it creating a separate landing page?
Looking for different opinions and trying to open a discussion.
