Separate domain for each service - YAY or NAY?

My long story in short:
I'm running a small business providing webdevelopment & SEO services. All clients have been acquired through "word of mouth" and recommendations.

I've a small website, because I've never had time to extend content etc (here it is: https://webskill.group).

My brand is "Webskill Group", so that's why I chose this domain. As time went by, I doubted '.group' TLD.



My problem:

Now I want to expand my business by getting new clients from organic traffic. The niche is highly competitive and I don't know what should I do.

My idea is to buy 2 new keyword rich domains - one will be used for webdevelopment (e.g. "webservices.com") and one for SEO (e.g. "seoservices.com"). These will be completely new domains, not expired/expiring.



The question:

I'm pretty sure my idea is very time-consuming. Is it smart to do it like this? Should I even try or should I stay with my current domain?

Both of these niches are way too big. Decide on one and stick with it. If you just want to service local clients, it's better if you buy something like webservices xy city

I think since you've already gotten those setup, and you already mentioned that you do not have the time to update those, then just forgo about setting 2 websites - SEO isn't just registering an exact match domain, but it also involves 'growing' it over time - think of growing 2 different websites, by updating it with articles (the most basic) - you have 1 website atm, but if you have 2 later, think of all the work that is involved in 'growing' 2 websites instead of 1 in the future - you'll need a sizable funding for that. I reckon you should just build a brand on business instead. Personally, I dislike those funky .web . group .club type of domains. For decades, we are accustomed to .com and nothing else. Using a different tld just creates more confusion in the process.

I would build up your old domain/website.

I had checked your domain webskill. group it's new for promotion. Now you have both options.

Either you can buy new domains with the local city name or you can create a subdomain with the webskill.group

Take a look at your current domain metrics and decide. Also it will be harder to do SEO with brand-new domains...

Don't try to include such keyword-rich words into your domain, it will look spammy and most people don't trust or fall for this. If you have some decent budget, try G ads or FB ads to promote your business.
