SEOquake is a product of Semrush. But I checked the KD, the two values differ significantly.
Could somebody tell me what's the reason?

Different algorithms.
My 2 cents... KD from third party tools is not the right way to find good or easy to rank keywords.

If you have lot of SEO research work to do in limited time with less manpower you need to have some tool to speed up your process.
Else if you have less work, you can manage your entire SEO with free tools although the process is manual and tiring.
Using free resources, the data is raw and needs to be checked & segmented.

They're good enough for a starting point, whenever it comes to traffic or diffuculty,
It's better to search, filter & get an idea based on estimations than nothing

That's not correct quake relies on the serp results.

As I mentioned in my previous reply it's most likely because the quake algorithm isn't as updated as SEMrush.

The answer you provided is not entirely accurate. SEOquake doesn't rely on its own data for keyword difficulty but pulls information from the SERP (Search Engine Results Page). According to the SEOquake guide, it evaluates various factors from search results, but it's possible that SEOquake’s algorithm isn't as up-to-date as SEMrush, which might explain the differences you’re seeing. SEMrush updates its data more frequently, which could make it more accurate in some cases.

Don't know what's not entirely accurate here because I just quoted what quake themselves say about their KD.
The only factor quake considers for KD is the SERP competition.
And there used to be a time back when both KD values were similar but since then the paid tool has evolved while quake hasn't.
It's simple as they say don't know why you're trying to twist it.
