I don't get it. It shows a site with a better alexa rank, more than double backlinks, almost double indexed pages, same pagerank, losing to another site because it has a dmoz listing, 3 more delicious links and is 8yrs old instead of 7...

makes perfect sense to me

8 year old domains and older is when you start being able to rank easily / easier for alot of highly competitive keywords

domain age makes that big a difference? Would be good if the site gave that info, seemed like the other site should have easily beat it. Also, the site is not based on keywords, so kinda hard to tell what it's easily ranking for when there is no info given.

yeah i see your point, i know dmoz used to be a big plus, but i am not convinced anymore that it is as useful as once was. Interesting results anyway

i am sorting it by this algorithm:

alexarank (15%)
backlinksGoogle (25%)
indexedPages (15%)
dmoz (15%)
pagerank (15%)
delicious (5%)
age (10%)

It is further divided between two domains X/(X+Y)*% i Y/(X+Y)*%

well the results change after the second try, i didn't get google(US) index count right as well.

And facebook beats google. I don't think thats right.

In terms of popularity and mentions for facebook, in addition to all of the indexed profiles... Facebook beats Google in several categories, main ones are:
Indexed pages (site:domain.com)
Facebook 1,230,000,000 Google 806,000,000
Backlinks ("domain.com")
Facebook 2,090,000,000 Google 334,000,000

I think it's correct. What do you think?
