Ideally, you want to gain references from social accounts with good reputations. And having your own social presence that is well regarded is important. So participate on relevant social platforms in a real, authentic way, just as you would with your website.

If you are trying to use social signals for SEO purposes, I would recommend connecting with popular accounts relating to your industry and seeing if they can review your website/products on their websites, youtube and social media. This will indirectly help your SEO campaign
