I stumbled upon this site from google and has some questions. I have two website that I wanted to promote.

Whats the best way to get started? Do you guys usually hire people to link or do you do it yourself? What are some good sites to use to link on? Thanks for any help.

at least before you ask to be spoonfed

There are a ton of different ways to get backlinks and tons of different backlinks to get... like iseegreen suggests, take a look at the SEO section. Alternatively, if you are not interested in learning, just hire a guy like the member, jstover77 and he'll get your site ranked for you.

Welcome to the site! This is the best place to learn tons of different methods. The bet thing to do before you even ask questions is to just read,read, read. That is what I have done and you will find info on just about everything you wonder...
