SEO

Off-page with good on-page.
I think it's quite obvious that before doing off-page it's important to get your on-page and UX right.

Both are important, but on-page SEO is the first step to help search engines understand your website and content. Off-page SEO is mainly for building trust with search engines.

on-page gets u indexed + relevance, off-page gives authority + push. without clean on-page (structure, kws, internal links), links don’t stick. without off-page (backlinks, mentions), u won’t rank competitive terms. balance both, but foundation always starts on-page.

off page seems more important to me, but i will never neglect the on page

On-page SEO is the foundation, off-page SEO boosts authority both are essential for sustainable rankings.

On page makes your site strong, off page builds its trust. You need both for best SEO results.

Off-page SEO does not work properly without on-page SEO, and without off-page SEO, you cannot rank for big keywords, even with on-page SEO alone.

First, you need to build a strong on-page presence (content, keywords), then you need to establish authority off-page to survive in the long run of competition.

On page and Off Page both are important, First do on page seo and then do off page seo day by day.

Both are crucial. But if your internal site quality is weak, external pushes won't do much. Fix your site first, then push hard externally.

Both are very important, if you want to rank your website effectively and consistent you should need both practices.

What it covers: titles, meta descriptions, headings, keyword placement, internal linking, site speed, mobile optimization, structured data, etc.
Why it matters:
  • Ensures search engines can understand and index your content.
  • Directly impacts user experience → dwell time, bounce rate, conversions.
  • Without strong on-page SEO, even tons of backlinks won’t help much (Google won’t rank content it can’t parse or that users hate).
Stage: Most critical early in a site’s life or before link-building campaigns. It’s the foundation.

What it covers: backlinks, brand mentions, social signals, E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authority, trustworthiness).
Why it matters:
  • Builds authority and trust with search engines.
  • Helps you outrank competitors with similar content quality.
  • A page with great content but no links = hard to rank in competitive niches.
Stage: Becomes the decisive factor once on-page is solid. That’s why established domains with strong link profiles can outrank newer sites even with weaker on-page optimization.

Both matter, but on-page SEO is the foundation—get that right first. Then off-page (like backlinks) can boost you further. Strong content + solid links = best results.

Good SEO starts on page, then goes off page. Both are important

I give a lot of importance to off-page because I like it, but I don't understand on-page so I have nothing to say about that.
