I mean, publish an article on their site (if they accept it, obviously) with a link inside of the article that points back to your site, and whenever your article gets seen by their traffic and clicks on your link they will visit your site.

My response was a bit sarcastic, but it's true nonetheless because by doing this you can really get traffic from them. But of course, succeeding in publishing an article on their site is a whole different story and the tricky part :)
 
Look into building parasites, you find high authority sites that allow you to create content then build links to it to take advantage of the high authority.
