SEO contests are a french tradition that I think will interest you :

SEO World Cup is a SEO contest where SEOs and web spammers try to rank first for a certain keyword.

The keyword is : Pandaranol

The winner will get : 4k€ in prizes, see the full list on their site ( http://seoworldcup.com/ )

Why is it interesting ? Because you can get tons of links and techniques !

I don't participate, but you can, if you have guts

How can you profit ? Google > New google alert > Term: "Pandaranol" > Settings : as it happens.

Yeah haha I just saw that, but they just started yesterday.. and it's ranking only #4 or #5 on the french google. And it may be temporary

PS: And no.. I think I can't win with a post, they want a domain :]

EDIT : NO, the keyword is "Pandaranol".

G doesnt like this kind of contests
G will show you who is the boss if he can get to you

we had a similar contest in our country and some 1st page "winners" got some of their OTHER sites deindexed...
google won in the end...

Too bad it's only for France residents. Would be interesting to see though who wins it.
