SEO... Where do I start?

Good morning, I would like to learn seo but the information does not have a beginning and a middle position. I want to say that what I did for so long when I was making a site was to do an seo check on my sites from a few sites and I tried to make them all green. What I don't know is what I actually have to do to pass an opponent in the rankings.

When you say SEO check I believe you did competitor and keywords analysis, you can create relevant quality articles and share them to gain more traffic, Keep analyzing your competition about their back link profile and keywords that are over all ranked high you can start with low search volume keywords..

most of the time, this comes down to:

1. content
2. backlinks
3. site structure & topical authority
4. luck

1. Content.... your content needs to address the intent of the keyword properly and in full and be well optimized with LSI terms / SEO entities that google loves so much. If you manage to do this and your competitors don't - and assuming that all things are equal - then you will outrank your competitors.

To assess and improve the optimization of your content use the suggestions given by tools like RankMath, Frase.io, Surfer SEO, Neuron Writer, etc. Also make sure that your content reads perfectly in the language you're writing it in. If you write in English you can use Grammarly to proofread your content.

2. Backlinks... the more backlinks you have, and the stronger and more topically relevant they are the better your site will fare against the competition. Again, all things being equal which, in SEO, almost never happens :)

4. Luck... things like randomness, sandbox, forced ads buying, etc. can influence whether or not you'll rank even if you do everything right.
 
What I can't understand is how I can do seo on a site that doesn't have a lot of text. a site like what I'm writing is, for example, a livescore (livescore.com) has no text at all for you to say keywords. how do you work this?

You should start learning basic things like firsts do research about seo and how does it work and than start off with backlinks than all the way up to pbn and google rankings as well

Where to start? Well, you're already on this forum so you're actually WAY better off than most people who are just getting started. I'd binge as much content here as possible. And also take an SEO course by a top SEO company (SEMRush, Moz, etc.). they have free beginner courses on YouTube.
 
You can start by reading some of the most popular SEO sites, ie Moz, Neil Patel, Backlinko, SEJ pus this is tonnes of useful content on this site as well. Good luck with your journey.
 
I would suggest going over Ahrefs' yt channel. There's a beginner course there and it really helped me understand exactly that - how and where to start.
 
You need On your website and Good Content And Good Keyword Research and On Page SEO Off Page SEO
 
Start with basics of seo. Types and then get into the tech part of the SEO. Bhw will help you learn more about the Seo. You can also refer YT channels for ref.
