SEO what do i need?

Hey guys, so i have someone working on SEO for my website right now, he just started so might take a bit, but what else do I need to rank higher? just having someone working on SEO is that enough? if not can you list stuff I need?

First of all, that you have to do - it is website audit, you can use screeming frog, or websiteauditor, or etc. Correct all technical issues, check all texts on the website, add some text if it need. See what your top competitors do, and try do the same or even better at your site. Check backlink profile, make disawov file, and build quality backlinks. In short thats all you have to be done.

If someone has already started, you can check with them what is their action plan and if you have some time in you hands, may be you can contribute with few of the things they mention.
