Hi experts

I want to know the difference between the two SEO & PPC and which is more beneficial from the business point of view?

If you have the budget then both should be run at the same time.

SEO is long term PPC is immediate.

PPC is paying for advertisements and paying per click. Facebook and Adwords are 2 examples of popular PPC types.

SEO is on-page (keywords, internal linking) and off-page (links)

This is a very basic comparison.

Any business goal should be long term SEO because it means ranking for terms organically and therefore clicks will be free. Run both so while you are working on SEO (which can take a long time to notice nowadays) you can bring in traffic/sales immediately with PPC. The great thing with PPC is you can track a lot of metrics meaning you can work out the costs per aquisition (getting a paying client for example) and work out your ROI etc.

Say it takes 4 clicks to get a customer. Each click costs you $10 and you sell the customer a product for $100 then you've made $60 in profit. Obviously these numbers are very basic but it gives you a rough idea. Then in 6 months you may rank for your main keyword and thus get those 4 clicks organically meaning no costs for the clicks.

SEO is for Long term ultimate results. PPC for short term accurate results.
