    I found a domain related to my niche and 13 year old means it was first registered in 2001 . (till now it was dropped 4 times)

    PR 2 ----only few backlinks ...

    I want to start my money site with this domain .

    will the age of this domain give me benefits in SEO.

    If you can recreate the latest "version" of the website (check in archive.org), then it might be useful. Starting a completely new website will simply reset it's age.

    Yes, domain age does matter because it's an indication that your site isn't just a spammy site that goes up there and then disappear from the radar. It makes sense that search engines would monitor this, if a website isn't going well then it's less likely to stay up.

    Means ...you guys are saying that it does not have any value in terms of SEO if i create a new site.
