Depends on what you are trying to rank for.

A little tip. When you make your Web2 sites, keep all the login details. A backlink off an old web2 page, is worth well more than some random new built Web2 link.

Yes its effective with good interlinking and quality content each sites then ensure that it do follow links.

That's right using web 2.0 for SEO purpose is good for recent trends. I hope every SEO must be working on Web 2.0
