Seo Tips Would Be Appreciated For Me, A Noob! :)

Hi guys,

Still one of my firsts posts on the site but I have to say some of the info on here is great!

Basically my first website came through the other day, its really smart and tidy.... but im not getting anyone on the site as it has no seo/backlinking ect.

Im am an epic noob with stuff like this but if something is explaind I seem to pick things up ok (usually).

I dont earn anything at the moment so i can't pay anyone right now but i would extremley appreciate maybe a starting point i could get on with on my site.

First of all, and the importants thing: great awesoem unique content..

Than look at the member download area and look for free/cracked tools for linkbuilding or do it at your own manualy.
- article directories
- press releases
- social bookmarking
- etc..

otherwise sell a service where your good, maybe webdesign, and make some bucks to buy other services or tools..

Yeah the site i have built is selling a service. I just need to get people there!!

As for the content, It dosent really contain any. Its maybe a 4 or 5 page site which is direct to the point and with FAQ's on the site about us and content really.

So, being a noob im not sure weather i need to concentrate on off site seo or backlinking ect.

you could set up some web20 sites (there is a list with over 120 inside bhw) with spinned text, so you'll get 120 theme relevant backlinks and blaste cspamcomments to this 2nd tier sites

Might also want to invest in some exact match domains (EMD) to get a leg up on the process...
 
OP use search function always .
Its very helpfull and will give you super dooper threads of BHW for noobs
 
You need to add content to your site, so get writing right now! Presumably you've done your keyword research, so write content around that and start linkbuilding straight away!

The tip to use the search on this forum is spot on, everything you need to know to start making $$$$$ is already here and I'd be very surprised if all the questions you want to ask haven't already been asked!

Add content + ping and bookmark.
Build links slowly/limited links on a daily basis.
