On a recent study, I have found a youtube video with less engage is getting higher rank than a complete Facebook page with more views likes and posts. So, what is the reason behind it ? is google treat youtube video better than a complete Facebook page. If a youtube video has 2000 views and not really shared around 4 to 5 places best possible way to replace it with another youtube video suggestion ?

You can get more engagement when you share your video on Facebook,which could be good.so Facebook is much better if your target is good.

Thats not answering his question. He is asking why fb ranks worse than youtube.

I cannot answer that question either, but it has been like this for quite some time. More than 55% of searches return at least one video (src: reelseo), facebook appears for FAR less searches. Dont try to rank a facebook page, its usually not worth the effort. Google favors YouTube.
Thank you Ambitious12 for a quick reply. Well, I was only thinking about Google search rank. As I can see both of them I mean youtube video and Facebook link has similar title and targeting same keyword but youtube video is rank top of the Facebook page, where the Facebook page has lot more posts engagement regularly. But, the video ranks higher ? so I wanted to know why is this happening ?
Thank you nonilol for a quick reply. Yes that's what I wanted to know. But, I have seen pages rank more than website original link. Even my blog if i search for it on google my fb page come first and some of the other cases too specially if it is targeting a name. But, I just saw few that comes with video at the top ranked 1. Most of the search results video is at the bottom most of the time ranked 7 or 8 even 5 6. But, the one i am saying ranked 1 where there is actually good PR page with same Keyword even articles but they are not ranked top. That's why i am bit confused

Well, its still all about the backlinks & social signals. No matter if its a video or an usual website.

You should remember that YouTube belongs to Google so I think it also plays a role in content ranking.
