SEO Timeline

Hi BHW,
I've been reading for probably the last 5 or so hours about SEO and using white hat methods and I have to say I've learnt a lot!

I've decided i'm going to work on a blog with a niche in mind, that at the moment I don't think has much competition (nor much traffic it seems) but it should increase in the future. So I've been reading around here and browsing the SEO services section and I've come up with a bit of a plan in my head on what i'm going to buy etc. my two main questions are how many articles should I have before I even bother trying to get my site well ranked on SERP, at this point of time I'm thinking it might be around 10-15 articles before I work on the SEO side of stuff.
My other question is how long should I wait between doing each step of the timeline below (it will be a completely fresh site, new domain etc.) oh and if you recommend any changes to order or different services that would be sweet

1) Launch and article/content writing (includes buying 10 unique content articles) - 3 weeks
2) social bookmarking (order a 250 package)
3) Link Wheel Service
4) Backlinks - 1000 PR3+ verified backlinks [/URL]
5) Possibly some .edu backlinks but not really sure what to do from now on??

during the whole process I'll be writing articles, but what do you guys think about that order and how long should I wait between steps? Should I incorporate or remove other/existing steps.
And once those steps are done how should I sustain my SERP?

I will be doing my best to ensure all on-site SEO is the best that it can be as well!

I'm not that naive, this is just the plan i've come up with so far. I hope to eventually be able to at least do one of these myself in time.

I think you are definatly on the right track here. Why 3 weeks for the articles? If the competition is low I wouldnt really worry much about the linkwheel just get some nice backlinks a variety of them coming from different platforms.

Just build the articles and hire someone to do manual backlinks and do a few sb blasts then you should be set. Or better just buy scrapebox and sick submitter..

this is the kind of response i'm looking for, cheers mate.

Solid plan for new sites... I think 3 weeks for articles is good. last I bought xrumer links for new site (just 500) . Then it went to sand box..

Keep it all as NATURAL as you can..............Google loves natural...........not forced or contrived!
