SEO Step by Step - Anyone?

hello
i spend a while in this website, but i still don't understand what i actualy need to do to promote my website.

is there a step by step tutorial?
does anybody here agree to explain how to do it right?

SEO search engine optimization:

On-Site SEO - minimize outbound links on your website. If you have outbound links that needs to be in there, place a nofollow tag on it. This way it will minimize the juices going out from your website.

Off-Site SEO - basically you need to promote your site. eg got to forums, social networking sites, blog commenting, article submission, bookmarking, video promotion. Those bunch of stuff where you can place your keyword and url on their pages.

Remember if you are going to make any SEO for your website i suggest you do further research on your market and target. Now Google it ^^

check your website that whether its indexed or not by searching your domain name in Google. if you site appears in the search results then follow up the of-page activities like @bannedfree mentioned in a moderate way it will help you to promote your site.

I read a book, Outsmarting Google. It was a good basic book to answer these questions.

I wouldn't advise, rather, insist you to read this Google's starter SEO guide.
