SEO Software is it worth it?

All these SEO Softwares such as , SEOMoz, Raven and all the rest are they worth trying out?
What would be the best one for a guy that isnt a genius in SEO but has some skills and wants to get some help
What would be the best to set up a profile against a competitor to help you bounce over him

Are they worth it, is there a forum favorite? Love all your opinions

is that more of a submitter tool? I was talking more about the programs that will help you strength and build a good SEO profile for your site, perhaps against yoru competitors , like a software that will take Site A which is your competitor compare it to Site B which is your site and tell you what you can do to help get above him for keywords etc...
 
Dont use GSA or Scrapebox unless you really know what are you doing... Of course that tools like seomoz are helpful because they are showing you your mistakes and room for improvements

I don't know if such software exists, that compares two sites. I think the only thing you could do is making your back link profiles stronger and try to do onsite SEO properly, try to adjust your articles, don't have too high KW density, make it easy to read for real users. Focus on user experience , so they want to share articles on facebook, g+ , twitter. Social signals really help a lot, you can buy them on fiverr too. As far as I know google can't detect real or fake social signals. Just make sure they stick.
 
only use moz pro if you get it for free , It is not worth 99 dollars per month . Their backlinks database is not even close to ahrefs or majestic which are much cheaper .
 
If you have a company, then you need SEO (and SEO Software and Links and bla..bla..)
If You just want to make money online, you need good traffic, converting offers and statistic skills.

This is what you got to do to make money with seo in the beginning and with time you can try new things.

I own 5 sites. I bought handfull services in BHW. for a time it gave me results.
but on a long run , i was disappointed. Either i got poor contents or copied content.

So i went on to Hire a VA , a full time article writer and bunch of seo tools. even my business partner gifted me "The best spinner" on my birthday :D.

Now it is good to have your linkbuilding team to build authority overtime. rather than depending on someone else.
 
It would be better if you start everything manually and see what works for you. After that, find a tool that does the manual stuff all automatically. Good luck
 
I bought all the gsa toots to seo and I think it is worth it, much better than manually doing it imo
 
I presume that you're looking for competitor backlink analyzes tool, you should try seo spyglass, majestic seo or ahrefs.
 
My two most used softwares are Scrapebox and Majestic SEO. If you know what you need the software for then it is defiantly worth it. If you are looking to plug in a URL and click start then don't bother.
 
I would suggest you to stay away from those article submitters, Social bookmarking, and backlinks builder software because Google Panda and Penguin are designed specifically to hunt down sites that are involved in that kind of activities!
 
thanks for your responses, might have not explained my SEO request very well . I wasnt looking for an article submitter or link creation tool exactly. I was more looking for a tool that would help my overall site SEO, tell me what I am doing wrong, tell me what my competitor is doing right etc, I do of course know that quality backlinks is going to help any site but it was more of a SEO tool to make my site itself the highest quality it can be, but perhaps I dotn even need something like that
