SEO Scammers Everywhere

I'm wrong am I? Would you like me to dig up some of the most recent threads Mr international SEO superstar?

I'm pretty sure you only responded to my comment to tell everyone that you are a "international SEO superstar".

you are full of hatred. no wonder you are penniless. go away.

i've been here since 2008, so it will probably take you a year of digging. LOL

You guys should take things easy over here, i think there should be a rules in other not to abuse each other in this forum.

Only if it gets excessive or someone starts to target another member's religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability.
3.7 Engaging in content that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability.

Your friend cause it all, some times when you see some one charges higher fees for a service they will never turn back to give you a reasonable price all they do is looking for cheapest price and at the end of it all they got scammed. I have a client who patronized me some days ago for SES accounts I charges him 200$ per single purchase but I told him if he is buying from 2 and above I will give him for 150$ each he ran away and some one gave him 2 SES accounts for 50$ and that's how he get screw. Tell your friends to learn to sacrifice we use huge money to make huge money.

Your logic is flawed here and I'll tell you why.

Some seo companies spend huge money to get results, others are just a kid working from their bedroom in mum & dads house.

I was talking with a guy last week who was wanting a 50 site PBN setting up - on a weekly basis.

Something else I see is where noobs to seo come to a group and ask how much should I charge per month.
Replys come back from $100 a month to min $5k a month.

Common sense here should say this is industry / location specific to a degree.
A plastic surgeon in New York might well be happy paying $5k, $10k a month, but Jimmy the 1 man car body repair shop in the town of Hicksville ( population 300 ) isn't going to do so.

So cheapest isn't always best, however the most expensive isn't either IF the seo doesn't have a clue what they're doing.

Or makes death threats ?

Penniless mate. I ain't the one working for someone else. Here's a news flash mate. Just cause you sit in an office writing blogs for someone else's company, don't make you super star SEO guru.

Go ask Woodward if he has a special little badge for you, and if you can apply for membership for the biggest "guru" wank circle.

He charged $160 from my friend every month for 3 month to rank a medium competition niche.

This is one hell of a red flag.

You have difficulty comprehending basic English. I get that, but stop accusing everyone who pulls up people's bullshit, as haters.

If you read back through my original post. It has fuck all to do with scammers / sellers. It has to do with people coming here, and asking questions about SEO. But not just SEO, people who say "My client wants.......". People who are passing themselves off as SEO people, then coming here asking for the most basic advice.

And what I said is anyone who knows anything about SEO, tends to troll these people. As these people are the people who give genuine SEO specialists a bad name. The only people who don't see this are other people giving shite info to the "Seo" OP. It's fucking pathetic. You don't sell yourself as an SEO specialist, then come to a forum asking the most basic advice. These people are shitting all over people's websites for the sake of $50 a week, and they are clueless morons.

It is like me advertising myself as a "car body work specialist" And then getting a tin of spray paint, making a dogs dick out of the job, then going to a forum about cars and saying "and now what do I do"

When really they should be trying for the big buck.. giving out brain surgery.

I think there might be a YouTube tutorial

You should know how to do seo yourself and have ranked sites before buying seo its his own stupid fault
what that guy did could be done in less than 30 mins if that at all prolly 15 mins
2 of those links arent even direct and not public or links at all lmao

A friend of mine got scammed by someone who sells monthly seo service. He charged $160 from my friend every month for 3 month to rank a medium competition niche.

What did he do in 3 months?
- Comment spam on 2 websites! Totally unrelated niche.
- Submitted links on high obl spam sites.
- He didn't even looked at the site for on page optimization lol. Just spammed.

What else did you expect mate, this industry is high-risk.. with SEO nobody can guarantee anything.. he built you some links (you should ask or read which links you will get before purchasing) but just because it not worked for your website i woudnt call it Scam.. Thats why its best to do SEO yourself and if you know things and have luck results might come..if you blow it at least you learned something and wont do mistakes again. Now if you payed with paypal to him try to negotiate see if u can make some deal or just call the bank and request chargeback for all 3 months of transactions because you have up to 180 days to chargeback.

Probably the best summation of the shit show that goes on this site daily. Well worded sir.

One case = scammers everywhere?
Maybe scammers is an exaggeration, still there are many peoples like that on FB groups from where my friend found him who are not experts in seo and take advantage of peoples. You're right mickyfu.

If we let go the $160, still he has done more harm than good. He should have just built one good link which would be still better than spamming direct to money site.

Yeah there are way too many amateurs in SEO, but scamming means a different thing. Incompetence is not illegal. There are medical doctors with degrees from top universities who are incompetent, mess up people's health and they're still not scammers.

But regardless of price, buyers need to know the RIGHT questions to ask when hiring out SEO if they want to find the right person. Of course for $160 your friend was going to get crap, but if he just blindly hires anybody he meets on FB (another red flag) he has a better than 50/50 shot of getting screwed even if he was hiring for $10,000 a month.

This isn't just SEO though, do the same thing in the construction industry by hiring a random contractor you meet on FB and see what happens. Hire a guy to fix your car who you meet on FB, you'll probably get something shady as well. Just because it's the web we're talking about doesn't mean people have a license to abandon practical business practices.

Tell your friend what you've learned here today and advise him that for $160 what he REALLY got was a valuable life lesson.

Sorry to bother anyone maybe not the right place to ask but what should you ask every "SEO" guy to check his validity? What does he need to do? I'm a SEO newb.
