Hey BHW hope you guys are doing good
I started blogging recently and am getting some traffic
I have being requested by readers of my blog to post some motivation content the fact is that my niche is tech do you think if I write about motivation this might affect my SEO?

If your platform is Wordpress, then all you need to do is set up a new category and assign all your motivation related posts to that category and keep the others in your tech related category.

I can tell you from experience, Google really appreciates proper navigation.

Why not both? Find some quirky motivational posts for tech geeks. I think that would really work great with your blog.

Not necessarily, you can combine tech and motivational things on your site, and you can even make some kind of combination for them and write motivational quotes for tech guys. The only recommendation here would be to separate pages in CMS, dedicate a special category to them, and add adequate tags and meta-tags there. That's just for algorithms to see you have a good structure on the site and for users to have a better and more smooth experience on it.

You can combine the both on your blog. Motivation posts about your tech and its developement always engage your users or if you feel it will affects then start the separete category and add your motivational articles for your reders.

If you compartmentalize your blog and figure a way to blend tech and motivation then it shouldn't really be a problem. But make sure it looks naturally blended and start a different sub-category on your blog, that will not affect your SEO from a google POV.

Not at all. Just write about tech only ona tech blog. Make a separate blog for new topic and divert traffic there to interested readers.
