is adding website URL in forum profile worth it?
if i add my links to forum signatures will it still count as a backlink if i'm not active or post in those forums?
does adding my site to facebook page help with SEO?
last, how can i index my backlinks?

If you add your site in facebook page, you will get more traffic to your site. Google web master is the best tool for indexing.

1. Worth it if you're in a relevant forum. Forum links as they are don't give much link juice.
2. It will count as a backlink, but most probably no-follow.
3. Depends on what you do with the link. If it gets traffic it will help with SEO. If the page where your link is placed receives some link love it will help with SEO. Look up "parasite SEO" for more info.
4. Links usually gets indexed automatically, but you can also use automated programs to make the process faster.

Forum signature links won't help you in ranking. Adding link from your FB page will help you to get good traffic. to index your links manually google.com/addurl, you will get instant indexing

It is not easy to index any site.You have to work hard and harder. You have to create a lot of backlinks to get traffic on site. You must have to promote your site on social media it will help you much more than others.
