SEO Question

Sorry for the title being so broad, but whatever, let's get to the question :D

Okay so for example, let's say i make a site about game cheats, and i make pages on it for each game, for example:

Homepage
Page 1:Clash of clans Cheats
Page 2: Runescape Cheats
Page 3:WOW Cheats

So, do i have to SEO the homepage (Backlinks, social bookmarks etc etc) or do i have to do each page equally?

Best thing is to do each individual keyword separately, do your research first, choose your long tail keywords and optimise each page for that, "best cheats for clash of clans" could be one page, where you talk about it, give the cheats etc. Then you need to follow "on page" SEO methods, there is loads of info on these forums.

Then you need to do your off page seo (link building etc) for each page, using variations of anchor text such as "clash of clans cheats", "click here", "your website name" "web address" "etc"

Thank you for the answer, so building links and doing SEO to the homepage won't have any effect for the other pages right? Thanks.

The answer is both!
You should do some general gaming links to your homepage and some more specific ones to your subpages.
 
I do exactly this and I don't build any links to the home page.

You can but you surely don't have to.

I build links to all the pages, but normally more to pages with ?difficult to rank? keywords.

There isn?t really a right or wrong way. Just ensure that your internal linking is good so that the link juice can flow thru the whole site
 
Afther using all the standard keywords possable start blogs and use longtail keywords to even get more traffic.
 
You have to SEO homepage because it contains every page linked with homepage. So it is beneficial to SEO homepage instead of each page equally.
