Hi all.
I'm a bit disappointed with an old website I bought some months ago.

This blog has 25k words I did on-page SEO to focus on keywords in the niche but no one is ranking !!
I have had some articles but I have the same result.
I think the problem is the competition on these keywords.

So here is my question :

- Do I need Backlinking to rank? If yes, if I bought link packages in the market place, I have to target each page with the keyword associated or homepage with all keywords?

- Or is it better to rewrite all and focus on other low competition keywords?

Thanks for your help

Best regards

First of all, make sure the content is correctly optimized.
2. Make sure of your SEO plugin - I only Recommend Rank Math.
3. Optimize the keywords according to your content, also do the keywords research before.
4. If you got high-difficulty keywords, you won't rank for any if there's no Backlinks, Social Signals, etc.
5. On-Page SEO is more than getting score in Yoast or Rank Math (Those are informal)

Both

As a simple rule of thumb:

1. Put 60-70% linking to your home and 1 or 2 links to each of the articles at most

2. To build up confidence I highly recommend focusing in low competition keywords at first. We all would like to top rank for a 1K+/mo at first, but the reality is that you will only rank for 50/mo keywords when starting.

That's completely right, though, there are ways to do it even if you're new on the web. (More advanced)

Thanks for your help.

Seo score in rank math is 76/100.

The problem is I bought this website before learning on BHW ;).
And now I have a blog with good content but focused on high competition keywords with high search volume.

If it's an old site
Add quality content with lots of words regularly
Add backlinks to homepage and post pages
Add posts, shares, likes, etc. on social media
Don't go too fast
Be patient and it should move up the SERPs

That's bad! I get a 94 score without even trying to optimize.

I had a thread doing On-Page SEO for free yesterday. I can do an exception for you and do it completely free of cost (Help you)

Wow 94 ;).
I tried to optimize it, the content was very badly written and I spent a lot of time to optimize but maybe it's not enough.

@QuiteRude0 if you have time to audit I think it could be very helpful for me.

Quality backlinks and diversity of your keywords so say your keywords is best seo you can’t create all links on best seo, you need to guide on best seo, techniques for best seo etc

Sure thing. I will manually audit your website - share your website with me in PM ( Send a message )
