I have a quick question and wanted to get a few opinions.

I have a site that the main domain is quite hi say pr7 pr8 and it has many SUBDOMAINS (over a thousand) that are pr3 to pr6. Is it worth having a backlink from each subdomain?

I know some people will say you need ip diversity but I am not concerned about that as I have learned in the past that it is not a big factor.

    Thanks

The chances are, Yes, it would be good to have a link from each one and even better if the link included a variety of KWs in the anchor text and yet even better if the anchor text was unique and relevant to the linking location! I'm finding there are many ways to use the multiple subdomain structure to your benefit. This being said, I need to know more before I can confirm that answer 100%... You haven't really provided enough information to give an absolute answer to this one as it really depends on the type of site and the structure of the site. For instance if its just a WPMUs, then it could function differently and would require a different internal link structure.

I also work on a high traffic site with thousands of subdomains so hit me up via PM and we can compare notes and help each other out!
