I currently own a domain that has the keywords (free psychic readings) in the domain. It is an exact match domain. I have 3 other domains in the spiritual/psychic niche. One about astrology, one about psychic employment and the other about awareness and being in the present moment. I ranked the other 3 sites for about 2 main keywords pertaining to each site. I understand that it is very efficient to rank sites for many keywords instead of just a few. One thing about the 3 sites they are hosted on the blogger platform and cosmetically speaking they do not look alluring or attractive. I am slowly making the moves to get my own hosting and using wordpress for the "free psychic readings" domain, and if time permits, the other 3 sites.
For the "free psychic readings" domain I own, it is a brand new domain and no backlinks (that I know of). I realized that if the content is original, unique and relevant to searched keywords, it will rank higher on google. I also understand I have to pump out new content regularly. I checked the keywords "free psychic readings" on a tool I have access to called Keyword Inspector, and it shows that those keywords will be moderately easy to rank high on google for. Want I want to know is if I pump out original content on that domain, hosted on a wordpress blog with affiliate ads placed in the right places, will it convert and will it rank high on google? I learned that if you have good content, the backlinks will start accumulating. This isn't the same as directly building them, but its a good way to indirectly build them. My other 3 sites all rank very high in google for just a few keywords so the traffic is just trickling. I wrote the content to the best that I can do it. I am not really a writer. I would be more motivated to write more articles if those 3 sites weren't hosted on blogger ( i think its unattractive ) and if I had steady access to wordtracker ( I love their keyword ideas and related searches) I just don't have the budget right now for that.
