Okay, so I just need a quick tip from an affiliate with some SEO experience...

A bunch of my visitors have proposed a sort of a "product finder" where they could enter if they want an expensive/cheap product, a version of the product for kids, etc...

So I built this, it's just a small quiz which pulls up several products that match the entries at the end. I'm using the CalderaForms Wordpress plugin, it hides the products that don't match the entries with javascript (i think, not 100% sure).

So now I have this page that has like 40 affiliate links in it and VERY LITTLE actual written content. My site is ranking okay now and I don't want to ruin this with a page that google might see as spam. I know that stuffing an article full of amazon links is bad, I know that hiding content is bad. But to a real person, this is very useful content - to a robot, it might not be.

My question is, has anyone else done this before, has it affected you badly? Do you think I should nofollow this post? I want it on my site as I'm getting positive feedback, maybe nofollowing would take care of any SEO problems?

    Cheers

Never tried. If something is useful to human you should do that without indexing in Google. If it is not indexed in Google, then it will not hurt your site.
