SEO QUESTION ABOUT Quality VS Quantity.

I wanted to ask some of the experts here. My site is in the sandbox phase. Just purchased it from an expired domain about 2 months ago. It was unused for two years by the looks of it, but has some strong links and a clean profile. The site is now built and has about 60 articles on it targeting low comp keywords usually less then 20 in ahrefs. Anyway, In the past I have always paid for link services that revolved around multipule links ie, web 2.0's , profiles, the pbn for that seller you know the ones in the marketplace 'jack sparrow' ect. My question is, now that I have a larger budget then in the past due to life/working. Is it better to say spend 300$ on one single link which to me is alot and about my montly budget. But for 300$ I would expect a link on a very authority domain, theguardian.com for example. or would that 300 be better spent on said previous services that give multiple i guess lower tier links. Thank you for honest answers.

Well always go for less but better, many backlinks are suspicious even if they are good quality.
 
Quality is more important to search engines than quantity.

Yeah try with the $300/post price blogs and analyze the keyword ranking results compared to your previous backlinks

From this one link, you can get overall metrics for your site but from other backlinks, you can get specific metrics only

Quality backlinks and quantity of external links that gives you good metrics, both are important
 
Quantity does not matter you should go for quality, because there are gives you good metrics Also, the last google update clearly tells quality matters.

You can expect an authority domain backlink but not from something like guardian.com.

You can get some good backlinks within your budget if you do the outreach yourself.
 
Thank you all for the responses. So lets say the main domain i am competing aginst has the same metrics inside ahrefs. Its actually a bit lower then my domain. So spend the 300$ on one or two links of good quality rather then the older way of quantity of links with lower mectrics. Thank you all for the responses.

You are asking if you can get a link on Guardian.com for $300 or do you mean on a site with a link from the Guardian?

I have a provider where I can get a link on theguardian.com for 300$ I have not purchased yet, but I want to wait till the site gets out of the sandbox.
 
Quality is indeed more important yet quantity takes a role as well.
There are a few crowd link sellers which can be a great idea for a site with relatively low budget, these links come with traffic and from high metric sites so might be worth checking those out.
Guest posts are a good idea as well, 300$ per link at your stage I believe is not necessary and the money could be spent in better ways.

thanks so much for the reply. Have you had any luck with a crowd link seller here or elsewhere?
 
good quality always matter so I suggest hire professionals or make yourself a strong backlinks or got a link juice from Fameseller.net in the affordable prices.

1 great link will not produce great results. Blowing your budget on 1 link would be a waste of time.

You want to get as many quality links as possible with the budget you have

That will most likely mean a good mix of crowd/PBN's/NE's/GP's
