just wondering if anyone takes detailed notes of your seo methods per site & their subsequent results. If so, how do you keep track?

I compile full blown step by step reports. MS word.

I have MS Excel sheets setup for each website and I note the progress every week. Its all manual though. Don't feel comfortable with all those automated services.

well, how do you guys keep track on linkbuilding project whn you have more thn 10 sites lol don't want to hijack the thread though

I keep a log book I write down once a week, and excel sheets for each site.

I have done it for so long that i have developed the ability to have a mental note of my campaigns. If i forget on any of the sites, i simply do a back links check to see which BL's i still need to build and which i need to complete. Its not very scientific but it works. if i started logging all of the sites then i would never get any real work done.

I have one folder per site then within that folder i have a folder for each kw. if i then linkbuild for a kw i save the links as txt and if i make tiered links i make a new folder with the name corresponding to the txt file. that way i know what points where

I use MS OneNote, create a notebook for each site.
