SEO Powersuite

I bought SEO Powersuite professional about 6 months ago and really like it. My problem though is the updates have ended. I thought it was a one off purchase but it seems not. My question is can you continue to use it without the updates? I know it still works but is the information useless without the updates? Are there any affiliates selling discounted update packages? I know there are lots selling the package but i haven't seen any selling updates.

I've been using it for about two years, though mainly just Rank Tracker. At first I didn't get the updates, then I noticed that it was having trouble completing tasks, so I did the updates for a while, but what I've noticed is that most of the updates are for foreign search engines that I don't care about, so I unsubscribed to the updates a few months ago and it's been working fine. I'm guessing that if there's a big Google US update it might stop working again, but I'll just pay for the update that month, turn it off again and not pay again until I need to.

Thanks. Do you only update RankTracker or do you update the others too? Presumably the others don't change very often?
