I can see why everybody loves Yoast - branding is everything.
Too bad, that once you strip Yoast's branding off the plugin you discover that it sucks. The plugin is far behind the modern SEO/SMO practices, which is no wonder, because with 1M+ installs your priorities switch from being the best to selling the most.
If you want to spend less on SEO use plugins that are less known, because then you get what you're actually looking for - less fluff, more functionality and compliance with modern web practices.
