I've created a site in the TV Show/Movie Streaming niche. As you can imagine, I've posted hundreds (approx. 900) Movies/TV Show episodes. I'm just wondering on the best steps for doing SEO to a site like this? Naturally, when doing SEO, you're trying to optimise for around 10 articles on certain keywords, but it's not possible with my site as I have almost 1000 posts.

I'd really love some help from people out there with experience or even an opinion. I've hit a brick wall, with no idea how to structure or even attempt to tackle seo for this. Any replies are welcomed, I hope some of you can help me or point me in the right direction.

You're trying to optimize it for generic movie/tv show terms right? Like "Watch movies free" not "Watch Forrest Gump"

No man, for each post I've been optimising it for that specific title. For example I optimised Breaking Bad with 'Watch Breaking Bad Online' and The Hangover with 'Watch The Hangover Online'.

    Is this bad?

My thinking was i had to optimise for the specific title as if I didn't, how would I rank for the keywords?

Wait for a more experienced answer. My advice is to do what I do and that if you don't know what your doing in terms of SEO then just outsource it - plenty of services on this site here. If you're doing it that way, you would have to build links to those specific pages as well as your homepage itself to make it look more natural.

Can somebody look through this for me to tell me if it's good or not? This is a plan I received from somebody who 'specialises' in SEO.

Monday: Write unique articles, submit to high PR web 2.0. We will change theme, add widget, insert relevant images, video to make the links look professional.
Share links on Facebook, Google+, Twitter.
    Socialbookmarking for web 2.0 sites.

Tuesday: Create multiple videos with differtent titles, description and submit to video directories.
    High PR blog commenting.
Share links on Facebook, Google+, Twitter.
    Socialbookmarking for video sites.

Wednesday: Write unique articles, submit to high PR DOC/PDF sharing links.
Share links on Facebook, Google+, Twitter.
    Socialbookmarking for DOC/PDF links.

Thursday: Write description about your site and submit to high PR social media sites.
Share links on Facebook, Google+, Twitter.
    Socialbookmarking for social media links.

Friday: Write unique articles, submit to article/press release sites.
Share links on Facebook, Google+, Twitter.
    Socialbookmarking for article links.

Saturday morning: Create image sharing accounts, upload relevant images and tag with keywords.
Share links on Facebook, Google+, Twitter.
    Socialbookmarking for Image links.

Anybody with some experience I'd appreciate your feedback.

Its quite easy to dominate those keywords. You can do social bookmarking for each title. But for 900 title is really time consuming to do it manually. You need to find some automate bot to do the job.

For me the most effective way is to make your site authority. Just like solarmovie or movie4k. But I don't know if it is profitable compare to content locker sites.

When you're working with that many pages you're talking enterprise level SEO which most folks here don't have much experience with TBH.

What's going to help you is solid interlinking and make sure you've got some decent content on all of those pages.

It used to be very easy doing link building to thousands of pages but now because each link you build represents a possible chance to fuckup it's not advisible to shotgun blast links anymore.

You might consider separating your movies and shows into categories and then build quality links to your category pages, which in turn funnel juice to each move/tv show page separately. The ROI probably just isn't there doing quality links to individual pages unless they get a lot of volume. I imagine the monetization for your niche is pretty grim so you always have to be thinking about ROI.

Good luck bro, replied to your quote inside the quote and in bold.

Umm ...... how many keywords do you have ?? You have like 1000 posts but you are definitely not going to try ranking for all the different keywords ( for example post based ) ?? are you ????
