Hello,basically if there are no unique content on site and everything is fetched from imbd and such, would there be any benefit from seo packs and pbn posts?

Nah, you need unique content on the money site.

For SEO purposes, search engines like to filter out what they view as duplicative content, things that are exactly the same. Google's been very specific about the duplicate, low quality content in one area can harm you across your entire site.

Well if you look at online streaming movie sites, you will see they have no unique content. Movie description fetched from IMDB along with other info. The only thing they have is links from where you can watch movies/tv shows. Sites like this rank even with no original content.
It all depends on the niche. For a movie niche, people are not looking to read a 1000 word article.. Instead they want to watch the movie. I think you get the idea.

Im actualy looking at this niche checked google for higly competetive kw and in google nr.1 spot was website which is 7 months old checked for unique content.. nothing.... only all in one seo pack plugin for meta kw, and was curious how the hell that can happen without unique content.

I second this. Found lots of sites rank higher with a page consist with links only and a short duplicate content. User engagement, bounce rate and time on visit indeed come into play in ranking factor.
