Hello,

I have been working as SEO for a blog, and been doing outreach for a year, building really high quality links, DA has been going up nicely but traffic is stuck. I am worried it has a manual penalty of some sorts, but NOTHING shows up in google search console when I check, or when I scan it with malicious, or anything else, always comes back ALL OK. How could I diagnose the problem on why the site isn't growing? It's very old site, high authority, and high quality articles for keywords with high search volume , low KD and even then..

What is your experience?

probably because google, being the scumbags they are, MANUALLY and WILLINGLY stopped giving you traffic so you can buy google ads. Call me conspiracy theorist but I've seen enough of google's dark side to consider this as a possibility

Either this, or your keywords have reached their full potential (their search volume).... although, if you've publishing new content regularly your traffic should indeed increase...

This.

Start posting new content then see what the result is.

Or You are posting content but not getting ranked that's another issue.

Yes, I publish it 2 days a week...

How are you doing with interlinking?

You might want to interlink content that falls within the same category using full active sentences with targeted keywords.

It's important to note that when you are interlinking, the content you are linking to from your own blog must enhance the value of the content of the page you're linking.

You might want to consider strategic interlinking on a category-by-category basis.

It's also good to pay close attention to seasonality and look at your old traffic logs to detect certain patterns.

Have you owned this site all along, or did you buy it from somebody else?

Sometimes it depends on the niche you are in.

Keep looking into the competitor's sites and analyze the SEO data.

Also, recheck the keywords that you used on the same page.
